Mt. Marathon Heli Day Hike - Helicopter Flightseeing
For the independent adventure travelers this helicopter flightseeing tour is for you. We will fly you by helicopter up to Seward's famous Mt. Marathon Bowl, at approximately 1,800ft. This is a self-guided heli hiking adventure. After your drop off you can explore the area on your own before hiking the trail down the mountain and back to downtown Seward. On your way down spend some time viewing Seward, Resurrection Bay, and some of our local glaciers from the best vantage point anywhere.
This is a great family or group option. You should plan about 1/2 day to complete the trip.
Mt. Marathon is home to the Mt. Marathon Race and believed to be the second oldest footrace in America. There has been a marathon race up the mountain on the 4th of July since 1915.
Flight path may vary based on weather conditions and other factors we are happy to discuss them with you when you arrive.

Choose A Time: Between 9:00am and 6:00pm
Up to 3 persons per flight. 300 lbs is the weight limit for any one passenger. The total passenger weight limit is 600lbs.
