45 Minute Icefield Tour - Helicopter Flightseeing
This 45 Minute flightseeing tour is an extension to the 30 Minute Bear Glacier Tour. On this flight we extend the flight into Kenai National Park's Aialik Bay where you will lay your eyes upon a glacier face over 500 feet high. This is one of the most active Tidewater Glaciers in the area and you may just see a large piece calve off during your tour.
Heading to Bear Glacier you will fly south over Resurrection Bay along the coast where you may see whales, otters, seals, and a variety of Alaskan Sea Life. Bear Glacier Lagoon is filled with hundreds of icebergs, some the size of a grocery store. After exploring the lagoon it's time to fly over into Aialik Bay to see the tidewater Aialik Glacier this is a very active glacier and we may see ice calving off it's face. Then its off to explore the Harding Icefield the largest icefield in North America you will now be traveling through the Kenai Mountain Range. Here we will look for goats and bears. You will notice many additional Hanging Glaciers in the valleys that are all part of the Harding Icefield. After a bird's-eye view of Exit Glacier we will head back towards Seward.
