35 Minute Eastbound Tour - Helicopter Flightseeing
This eastbound 35 Minute Seward helicopter flightseeing tour takes us towards the 2nd largest icefield in the United States, the Sargent Icefield. We will fly close to at least 3 spectacular glaciers that are all part of this icefield. We will explore remote Nellie Juan Lake where sometimes we will see large brown bears and moose. Waterfalls and rolling meadows stretch far on this flight so have your camera ready. After a trip around the lake and meadows we will head towards Day Harbor passing over Elsworth Glacier where we will hover close to icebergs that are hundreds of feet across. We will then cruise into Day Harbor where we may get lucky and see a pod of Orca Whales feeding before we fly up, over, and down Godwin Glacier on our way back to Seward.
Flight path may vary based on weather conditions and other factors we are happy to discuss them with you when you arrive.
