All-Inclusive Bear Glacier multi-day glamping and sea kayaking tour package. This tour includes helicopter transportation from Seward, meals, and guided activities. You have the option to paddle single kayaks or tandem kayaks. Stand up paddleboards are also available.

Our camp offers comfortable lodging in custom made 12' X 12' WeatherPort fabric cabins, a fabric tension shelters featuring wood floors and 2 single beds. WeatherPort shelters are used as permanent shelters in remote location around the world and are proven to offer comfortable lodging in every weather condition from Alaska to Antarctica.

Family style meals are served in our large dining shelter that also serves as a gathering place.

Bear Glacier's remote location means very few people visit. Most days you will not see anyone except for the small group at our camp. Getting to the camp is by flying in by helicopter but if you prefer to take a boat this can be arranged on request. Also on request we would be happy to include transportation to and from Anchorage and overnight pre- and post-trip lodging in Anchorage and Seward for a complete tour package departing from Anchorage.

Bear Glacier is the largest glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park and calves into a sheltered lagoon separated from the Pacific Ocean by a narrow glacier moraine. Our camp is located in the lagoon right on the border of Kenai Fjords National Park and offers a sea kayaking experience that is one of the most amazing, photogenic, and unique sea kayaking experience available in Alaska.

Well-known and famous, Bear Glacier giant icebergs can be the size of houses. Some can be over 3-4 stories high. Bear Glacier is the only location close to Seward, Alaska where you can experience paddling around icebergs. Photos just don't capture the beauty; you have to see them in person.

From our camp there is the option to do a longer helicopter flightseeing tour over the Harding Icefield, the largest icefield in North America and Kenai Fjords National Park's Aialik Bay. Seeing the Harding Icefield and Aialik Glacier from the air is an amazing added experience. This tour can be arranged at the camp or can be arranged in advance.

Wildlife in the area include black bears, mountain goats, coyotes, wolverines and harbor seals that come into the lagoon seeking protection from the Orca whales that cruise just outside along the beach. For birders, this area is the nesting area for a variety of birds.

• Experience - Alaska Kayak is the only Bear Glacier Sea Kayaking and Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Tour Company that has a full time staff that lives at Bear Glacier in summer. This is our summer location. We know Bear Glacier area better then any other tour company.
• Single Kayaks - We provide an option to paddle your own single-person kayak. Most other outfitters use only two-person tandem kayaks. Tandem kayaks and stand up paddleboard options are also available.

Seward departure time 1:00pm. On request the helicopter departure time is flexible if you need to depart later in the day.

Minimum age is 4. Call if have younger children we maybe able to accommodate you.
