If you are looking for a unique Alaska experience this tour is for you. Sea kayaking with giant icebergs combined with helicopter flightseeing. New for 2017, a Stand Up Paddleboard option is also available.
This Bear Glacier sea kayak/Stand Up Paddling Board tour offers flexible departure and return times. You can choose a time you want to depart Seward and the time you would like to return to Seward. Times are available between 8:00am and 7:00pm. We recommend at least a 5-hour stay. If your schedule does not allow for that much time we can make a shorter trip work.
Departing from the Seward Airport, this tour includes a helicopter flightseeing tour to Bear Glacier. Depending on the time you arrive and depart lunch and/or snacks and hot drinks are also included.
Bear Glacier is a remote sea kayaking paradise and offers the most photogenic, and unique Alaska sea kayaking experience available in the Seward, Alaska area. Come paddle in the maze of giant icebergs before they all melt away. Icebergs at Bear Glacier can be the size of houses and some can be over 3-4 stories high. Bear Glacier is the only location close to Seward, Alaska that you can experience sea kayaking with icebergs.

Bear Glacier Lagoon is only accessible by water taxi or helicopter and located about 15 roadless miles south of Seward on the west side of Resurrection Bay.

- Experience - Alaska Kayak is the only Bear Glacier Sea Kayaking and Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Tour Company that has a full time staff that lives at Bear Glacier in summer. This is our summer location. We know the Bear Glacier area better then any other tour company.
- Single Kayaks - We provide an option to paddle your own single-person kayak. Most other outfitters use only two-person tandem kayaks. Tandem kayaks and stand up paddleboard options are also available.

Departure time and trip length is flexible. You can choose a departure and return time between 8:00am and 7:00pm..
Minimum age is 6. Call if have younger children we maybe able to accommodate you.
Helicopter rates are based on 3 seats per-flight with a maximum load of 600 pounds. If the combine weight of 3 passengers is over 600 pounds, additional flight(s) will be required and the rate will be more. If you have questions please call.
