Seward - Denali Park Bus, "Park to Park" motorcoach service is the only transportation option available between Seward and Denali National Park with a single day's travel time, enabling you to enjoy a pre or post-cruise tour of Denali National Park. Other transportation options require 2 days travel time. This is a 365-mile bus trip between Denali, Anchorage and Seward.

Our most popular Denali National Park transportation option is to travel one direction by bus and return by the
Alaska Railroad Denali Star Train, allowing you to take in the scenic vistas of both the highway and rail routes.
Denali National Park is a "must-see" destination for many visitors to Alaska. The motorcoach trip from Seward to DenaliPark travels over 350 miles and is an all day journey along three highways – the Seward, the Glenn and the Parks Highways.
The trip travels the scenic Seward Highway, through the Kenai Mountains and winds along the Turnagain Arm which features the highest tidal range in the United States. Enjoy the views of Portage Valley and Girdwood Valley as you follow the Turnagain Arm.
Upon arrival in Anchorage you will stop downtown at the Anchorage Museum for a lunch break on your own. Enjoy lunch on your own in the Museum Cafe and, as time allows, visit the Museum’s exhibits. Board the bus at 3:00pm to continue your bus adventure.
You will journey 112 mile between Anchorage and Talkeetna. Follow the Glenn Highway along the Chugach Mountains, across the Knik River to the Matanuska-Susitna Valley region. The coach turns north onto the Parks Highway through Wasilla where we will watch for views of Mt. Denali if the weather is clear. The bus takes a brief detour onto the Talkeetna Spur Road to the town of Talkeetna for a short stop. The 150 mile leg between Talkeetna and Denali takes about three hours. The route continues on the Parks Highway over the Chulitna River and Hurricane Gulch and on to Broad Pass, one of the most scenic areas on this highway. Watch for moose and caribou through the pass. Pass by the town of Cantwell before the Denali Park area.
The motorcoach departs late morning from the Seward Small Boat Harbor and on special cruise ship days, the motorcoach departs directly from the cruise ship dock.
The Denali Park to Anchorage bus also has a morning departure with passenger pickup at 6 local Denali Park hotels – Denali Cabins, Denali Park Village, Grande Denali Lodge, McKinley Chalet, Denali Princess Lodge and Denali Bluffs Hotel.
