The Alaska summer tour season is short and begins the middle of May and runs through middle of September. We only operate a few months during the year. Our work hours can be long and we cannot guarantee days off. Our trips and schedule are very dynamic and can change daily.

We try and give days off as the schedule allows but if you are looking for a job that is going to guarantee days off, an Alaska guiding job may not be for you. Guides are expected to be available to work everyday for the entire season.

While at Bear Glacier, lodging and meals are provided. Bear Glacier is a remote camp and lodging at Bear Glacier is tents and with no running water.

Guides are expected provide all their own personal gear including a dry suit, outdoor clothing, high quality rain gear, foot wear, and sleeping bag. For buying the required gear, pro-deals, and wholesale pricing is available to guides.
