3-Day Denali Park Bus Tour - Departing From Anchorage
This Denali Park tour pachage can be customized to fit your desires and can also be done in the reverse order.
This 3-day Denali Park Tour Package option is the minimum tour length needed to visit Denali National Park for those on a tight schedule. Keep in mind there is a quit a bit travel time getting to Denali National Park. A visit to Denali National Park requires a day's travel time to get to Denali, you'll need a day to go into the park, and a day's travel time to get back to Anchorage, 3 total days.

3-Day Denali Park Tour Includes

Day-1 – Depart Anchorage at 7:00am for a scenic bus ride to Denali National Park. Arrive at Denali around 12:30pm and check into your hotel. You can choose to leave the afternoon free to relax or enjoy an evening stroll or go shopping at the park entrance for that perfect Alaska gift. Or you can choose to partake in an added guided afternoon park activity. There are raft trips, ATV rides, dog sled demonstration, flightseeing tours, or the Alaska Cabin Nite Dinner Theatre just to mention a few. Day-2 – Early 6:30am departure for a
Denali wildlife bus tour along the restricted Denali Park Road. This bus tour travels to the end of the park road to Kantishna and is your best opportunity to see Denali's famed wildlife, including grizzly bears, moose, sheep and caribou. Your guide will narrate the drive with detailed behavior of different animals, natural history and geology of the park, and recount adventures of early explorers. We stop for photo opportunities when Mother Nature presents them. We will also stop at rest areas to enjoy the sweeping vistas. The Denali Park road traverses through some of the most beautiful and rugged wilderness in Alaska. Our private park bus tour includes a nice sit-down lunch at a private lodge in Kantishna and also snacks and drinks in route.
Day-3 – Eat an early breakfast and then catch the hotel shuttle to the park entrance and train depot. Spend a little time at Denali National Parks Visitor Center, watch a Denali National Park movie or finish any shopping you'd like to do. Take the Alaska Railroad back to Anchorage; departing Denali at 12:15 p.m. and arriving back in Anchorage around 8:00pm. A recommend Alaska Railroad Gold Star Dome Car upgrade is available on request.
Meals are not included except for lunch and snacks on the park bus tour.
Denali Park Bus Optional Tour Add-on
Instead taking the 5-hour bus ride out of the park you can choose to fly back to the park entrance.
